We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Clinicians (LGPC, LCPC, LCSW-C, LCMFT, LMSW) to join our outpatient mental health clinic team in Prince George’s County. Our program offers treatment and support to those who may be homeless, struggling with substance abuse or trauma, and/or have not responded well to traditional outpatient treatment. Therapy will be provided in the patient’s home, street, shelter, or anywhere else in the community. 

As a Clinician for MTS, you will be a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, collaborating with medical prescribers and peer support staff to provide comprehensive mental health care to your patients. MTS serves a diverse population with a wide range of mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, mood, and bipolar disorders. As a member of the treatment team, you will play a critical role in our mission to improve lives in our community.
 
**All LGPCs and LMSWs will receive free weekly supervision**

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including Psychosocial Assessments, and prepare assessment reports in a timely manner, consistent with iMind standards. 
  • Develop and implement initial and subsequent treatment plans for supportive counseling services that involve the client and their support system. 
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions out in the field as outlined in the treatment plan, utilizing a strengths-based approach and best practice models. 
  • Conduct clinical interventions out in the field, such as the patient’s home, street, shelter, or other locations within the community. 
  • Develop a therapeutic relationship with the client’s family and include them in the treatment process as necessary and appropriate. 
  • Collaborate with community agencies and professionals to coordinate appropriate care. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including progress notes, that comply with iMind policies and requirements. 
  • If provisionally licensed, participate in regular weekly supervision (LGPC, LMSW). 
  • Accrue continuing education hours to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge and stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in the field. 
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards in all aspects of your work and demonstrate a commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in your interactions with patients and colleagues. 
  • Attend all necessary trainings.
  • Attend all staff meetings and actively engage by contributing observations and insight.  
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A master’s degree in counseling, or a human service-related field. 
  • Maryland license (LGPC, LCPC, LCSW-C, LCMFT, LMSW) issued by the board regulating one of the following disciplines: psychology, social work, or counseling. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing best practice treatment approaches to children, young adults, and families.
  • Must have the ability to work independently. 
  • Must exhibit proficient knowledge of DSM-V diagnoses and treatment. 
  • Valid driver’s license.
